Issue
The PCMCIA floppy drive for the Libretto will work in DOS mode without any drivers. For the floppy to work in Windows 95, a driver is required. This procedure will reconfigure the PCMCIA floppy drive in Windows 95
Procedure
  1. Download the file L50UTILS.EXE from the Toshiba Web Site
  2. Save the file in the C:\ directory when asked where to save the file.
  3. Boot the computer into Windows 95
  4. Click Start/Programs/Windows Explorer
  5. Double click DOS directory
  6. Double click L50utils.exe
  7. This will display a WinZip self extractor message
  8. Click ok
  9. Accept the default directory of L50UTILS, click Unzip
  10. A message will appear that Unzip completed successfully
  11. Close the README screen.
  12. Click Start/Settings/Control Panel
  13. Double click add new hardware
  14. Click next on welcome screen
  15. Click no so Windows will not search new hardware
  16. Click next
  17. Double click Floppy disk controller
  18. Click have disk
  19. In field for "copy manufacturers files from," change drive letter from A: to C:\L50UTILS
  20. Click ok
  21. Under models screen, Toshiba PCMCIA floppy will be highlighted
  22. Click next twice
  23. Click finish to install drivers.
