The following enhancements are incorporated in App Place v4.0, which is available for download through TOSHIBA Service Station on your tablet.

1. Better User Experience
    
   • New and modern look and feel with HTML5 Storefront
   • Improved load times
   • Scrollable featured banner that can hold multiple offers, index page includes "recently released," "top paid," "top free," and "favorites" so apps get more visibility etc.
   • Inclusion of a Search function
   • Provides user-friendly app management and allows user to launch apps directly from the page
   • Users no longer have to be directed to the App Place webstore in order to manage their account information, billing, and order history
      
2. Improved Security
    
   • No user data stored on tablet
   • Bringing devices up to a newer version will allow SnappCloud to correct a database recurring issue based on older software revisions in the field. All software 3.8 and above fix this problem. Toshiba devices in the field are 3.2 and below
      
3. More Application Flexiblity
    
   • Allows updates to storefront layouts and functionality without client APK updates
   • New Offer Details page: screenshots featured on the Android store now
   • Ability to cross promote by category and by app developer
   • New Categories page: highlights featured apps in the given category, calls out the developer,
   • New app has filtering capabilities
