Issue


[For computers with USB ports, and/or PC Card slots]

If you are using a non-Toshiba Bluetooth adapter (a USB 'dongle', or a Bluetooth PC Card, for example), the adapter may stop working, and the following message may appear:

"Bluetooth Manager: Thank you for evaluating your copy of the Bluetooth stack. Please obtain a license for the Bluetooth Stack for Toshiba."

This message is meant for developers of third-party Bluetooth adapters, but may appear if you are using such an adapter with the Toshiba Bluetooth software 'stack' -- rather than with the adapter manufacturer's stack. The third-party Bluetooth adapter may work with the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, but only for a 30 day evaluation period.

 

Resolution


Obtain and install the correct Bluetooth stack from the manufacturer of the Bluetooth adapter.
